A raw and personal expression of my life.
Notes
“There’s no backing down, there’s no turning back. I’m in this for keeps!”
These words from Tracey Faith’s much anticipated, self-titled album, are a true reflection of her.
Tracey has been writing and performing songs, which reflect her life of Love, Joy and Heartache. If you want to know Tracey Faith, just listen to her recording.
Born in Stoke-on-Trent, UK, Tracey’s family moved to Australia when she was only 2. Born to Salvation Army Chaplains, Tracey spent many of her formative years travelling through outback Queensland with her family. This experience had an impact on Tracey that is reflected in everything she does. Now living in the city, Tracey brings a country passion to the busyness of city living.
What is it that Tracey loves about country music? For her, it is all in the telling of stories. Tracey’s recording reflects her life in a way that is passionately raw, refreshingly honest and energetically delivered.
Winning the inaugural Galston Golden Saddle Award was the first time that Tracey Faith’s exceptional talent was recognized. Wanting to expand her musical influences, Tracey spent a few years working in theatre restaurants, rock bands, touring the pub scene and performing internationally.
Tracey was selected to attend the Australian College of Country Music. This is a highly selective training opportunity, which allowed Tracey to sit under the teaching of some of Australia’s greatest and most influential recording artists.
In her career, Tracey has persevered with an unrelenting determination. Her history has included: national radio tours, television appearances, international and national tours and many hours in the recording studio.
As you get to know Tracey through her recording you will join a great number of people who feel that Tracey has heard their hearts, has captured their lives and feel that they are not alone in their experiences of love, life and heartache.
So when Tracey says: “There’s no backing down, there’s no turning back. I’m in this for keeps!”, you can believe her!
