Notes
Prose in Rosette Original Solo Compositions performed by Douglas Jay Hertel. Ghostly Afraid focuses on dual electric guitars, keyboard bass, beat and main line vocals. All 10 cuts were written, tracked, and mixed by Douglas Jay Hertel (2015). "You Even Knew", "Signal to Sender", "Restless Dream" and "We're Not Pretending" were mixed and mastered from stereo stems by Shaun Morris (2015) at headroom mastering. The remaining 6 tunes were mastered by Shaun from full mix. This project encompasses Douglas' guitar playing talents, each song offers unique guitar tones, rhythms and melodies. Most of the album uses dropped 1/2 step tuning and features songs like "You Even Knew" in B flat minor. Everything is recorded to a metronome and has a sense of perfection in the final product.
