Reviews:

“…Tom MacLear has been on a wild wander. His newest and perhaps finest work One More Rodeo – which he just released, is an eponymous album – featuring firecracker lead singers and MacLear’s songs with a heavy dose of his slide guitar playing. MacLear has had one of those prolific, quiet careers that many true musicians have – not the guys on the marquee, but the ones who write the songs, play whatever lick needs to be played, and occasionally venture out with a record or project of his or her own…”

Biography:

MACLEAR has lived a colorfully nomadic life. From Aberdeen Scotland to Bozeman Montana. From his world travels and early influences of Hank Williams, Bordeaux & Bryant, Roy Orbison, Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan, came the passion of a simple melody with a simple message making a mighty powerful song.

Tom's Country roots took ground in California, working for or touring with the likes of The Flying Burrito Brothers, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Emmy Lou Harris (to name a few), Pushing the envelope and spreading a New-Wave of Country Music to the east...Texas, Nashville, NYC then the world tours. After a few years, the lure of Country Music wore off for Tom when his career rocketed to numerous writing, touring and recording ventures for Rod Stewart, Annie Lennox and many others.
