Notes
This group of artist developed strong friendships over a period of several years while playing in different cover bands. Jeff Buchanan, Brad Windham and David Gist packed the clubs regularly in west Texas during the nineties, fine tuning their showmanship and writing abilities. While Justin Sherwood and Marty Sanders tightened up their rhythm section in front of thousands of service men and women overseas.
When the cover band life wasn’t fulfilling and the overseas journey came to an end, their lives crossed paths again. Through trial and error, sweat and tears, the band 10 Mile Crossing was formed.
In March of 2005, they went into the studio armed with 10 original songs that were written, polished and practiced in a 10X10 room in Brownwood, Texas. The finished product is the result of a year and a half in the studio and many sleepless nights.
The CD made its debut on January 1, 2007 and has been receiving generous airplay on numerous Texas stations, as well as, attracting the ear of notable Texas A&R labels. With momentum like this, a mere month after its release, it is only a matter of time before the band 10 Mile Crossing is a household name.
