Description
Neo-Cyberpunk from the jerk who brought you half of See Colin Slash, a significant portion of Psyclon Nine, and about a tenth of last Wednesday evening\'s drunken debacle. Features remixes by Babyland, Hate Dept., Life Cried, Caustic, and more.
Notes
Like a crazed anthropomorphic refrigerator rampaging through a county fair, destroying everything in its path, Everything Goes Cold is in effect. They will steal your food, eat your house, and throw a raging kegger in your girlfriend. That\'s right, you heard me. Raging.
Five years after the untimely and unseemly demise of the Dorkwave Industrial/Folk catastrophe that was See Colin Slash, front man Eric Gottesman (formerly of Psyclon Nine, sometimes Ayria, occasionally Caustic, and possibly Edie Brickell and the New Bohemians) returns with a confusingly lengthy EP of all-new music. Drawing heavy influence from classic American Coldwave and Industrial Rock bands as well as a diverse sampling of new Industrial styles, Everything Goes Cold\'s rich vocal harmonies and pounding rhythms have been described by the elderly as \"Too loud,\" \"Noisy,\" and \"Obnoxious.\"
Having called in favors from practically every respectable musician he\'s ever met (and several he hasn\'t), Gottesman has assembled a motley crew of the best remixers from Industrial Music\'s past and present, spawning more than an hour of music. Reinforced with production by Italian EBM funboys XP8 and just a hint of cinnamon, \"Prepare To Be Refrigerated\" will blow your goddamn mind, or at least drench it in saliva.
Available June 23, 2008, from Sonic Mainline Records whereever Industrial Music is sold. Brace yourself, and watch out for that fridge we mentioned earlier.
Free bonus remix by Electro-Industrial legend Out Out now available at www.everythinggoescold.com in the high quality lossless FLAC format, high-bitrate MP3, Ogg Vorbis, and 22khz MP2. Preorder the CD while you\'re there, or we\'ll make you feel guilty about it later.
