The "Bilateral Music" CD contains one hour of meditative instrumental music, mostly played on acoustic guitar with keyboards, flute and percussion, mixed with occasional natural sounds of wind and water. The entire CD is mixed so that the sound gently moves back and forth from left to right.
It is designed specifically for use by EMDR clients.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) is a relatively new mode of psychotherapy which helps people who have experienced trauma by providing access to neurological pathways through gentle bilateral stimulation.
