Description
Inspiring, evocative, ambient piano music. Uplifting, dreamy, and contemplative. Listen with intention, or use it to create a soothing ambient soundtrack for your life. Perfect for prayer, meditation, massage, introspection, and to simply unwind.
Notes
With today's overload of information, busy schedules, and media stimulus, one can barely hope to carve out a few minutes for introspective or contemplative time, let alone true prayer or meditation.
It's my hope that any or all of the pieces within will let you the listener take just a few minutes to enjoy a peaceful disconnect from the busy workings of life.
I wrote and performed this collection of music for quiet reflection, prayer, mediation,.... and yes, to lesson the stress of commuting. I'd also take no offense to use it to fall asleep to! I purposely performed the pieces at slower relaxing tempos, with softer piano sounds, to create a sense of peace.
In the early Eighties, Brian Eno did a wonderful series of ambient albums – Music for Airports. I always found them to be evocative and tranquil even in the scratchy days of vinyl records. I drew inspiration from those Eno recordings in composing, as well as choosing some of my favorite classical pieces.
Wishing you a peaceful moment or two....
Chris :)
