Synopsis:
Set 100 years after "Return of the Jedi," the Jedi Order and the Republic are once again active. The planet Coreign produces a special ore that can power an entire city, but the Skenvi empire is interested in its potential for supreme spaceship armor.
About the Film:
Threads of Destiny is a fan film that is made to debut on the internet, created by Swedish fans of the Star Wars franchise. It is a live-action drama 110 minutes long and set in the Star Wars universe, taking place one hundred years after Return of the Jedi.
The film started pre-production in April 2005, and was shot both in studio and on locations around Stockholm in Sweden fall 2005 a period of 22 days. Pick-up shoots were conducted 2006, 2007 and 2008. Threads of Destiny cost approximately A$5,000 to make, mostly spent on raw materials for sets, props, costumes, catering and equipment rental to make the film. The film was made entirely with volunteer cast and crew.
The VFX were done by a scattered group of artists around the world, working on different platforms and pieced together in post-production.
