Description
Orchestral Horror inspired by the work of HP Lovecraft.
Notes
H.P. Lovecraft is known as the father of modern horror. His creations and stories about man's insignificance in a universe filled with cosmic horrors and ancient monstrous gods has inspired the work of many great horror writers today, and still continues to inspire today. The Call of Cthulhu tells the story of probably his most famous of creations, Cthulhu himself - an ancient god like creature who lies in a dreamlike state beneath the Pacific ocean, waiting for 'stars to be right' so he may rise and drive all of humanity insane.
My orchestral music is inspired by many great film composers, from John Barry, John Williams, Howard Shore, Bernard Herrmann, Wojciech Kilar, James Horner - the list goes on.
I've always loved both the power and nuance that an orchestra can convey, and I've tried to instill these attributes into many of my pieces. I hope you enjoy my music as much as I enjoy creating it.
