AS SEEN IN THE JULY 2007 EDITION OF GUITAR WORLD MAGAZINE!!!! (p.42)
In their 6 year history, the Baltimore, MD based rock band, HAVOK in HOLLYWOOD, surged to the forefront of the eastcoast's heavy metal bands, building a large, cult-like following by mastering do-it-yourself promotion and developing a spectaular live show reminiscent of cock-rock gods Guns-N-Roses and Motley Crue.
HAVOK in HOLLYWOOD opened and closed the legendary HFStival two years in a row, playing with the likes of AFI, Counting Crows, Joan Jett, Coldplay, Dashboard Confessional, The Strokes, Billy Idol, Foo Fighters, Sum 41, Garbage, and Good Charlotte. The band was a fixture throughout the mid-Atlantic, with their single receiving spins on WIYY (97.9 FM- Baltimore), WWDC (101.1 FM- Washington, DC), WHFS (105.7 FM- Baltimore), and was one of the most requested and most played artists on WRSX (X-106.9 Delmarva).
