Description
A 4 piece American Oi! Band based out of Phoenix Arizona, consisting of Mike on vocals, Jeff on drums, Lars on guitar and Dave on bass. We plan to write and record as much as possible and play shows when we want.
Notes
OMR consists of a group of friends who play music for fun with no compromises. In addition to Oxley's Midnight Runners, Lars Frederiksen is the vocalist for the punk rock band Rancid, as well as the frontman of Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards and The Old Firm Casuals. He was also briefly a member of the UK Subs in 1991. Mike Oxley is also currently the vocalist for the Phoenix-based Oi! band, The Fatskins, which have several vinyl and CD releases. He started singing in high school with band members Dave and Jeff in a band called Boot Party, which recorded 3 songs that were never officially released. Dave started as a vocalist for a Sierra Vista Arizona based straight-edge band in high school called Just Us and then later sang for the punk band, G-39... another Cochise County favorite. Jeff was the drummer forThe Stand, G-39, then went on to sing for the El Paso Texas based Oi! band, 90 Proof which appeared on several compilations and also released a 7" EP. The band has a broad background with a multitude of musical influences which is what you will hear on this release. Play these songs LOUD and enjoy!!!
