Description

Mondo Cacti finds our heroes openly tipping their hats to Sergio Leone and Ennio Morricone, fuelled by growling baritone guitars and danceable saloon numbers.

Notes

In 2006, they introduced the masses to their blend of sixties spy movie music and classic surf rock with their debut album, Operation: Jet Set!. In 2007, they blasted off into the stars with the space themed Sputinik A-Go-Go. Now The Reverb Syndicate is ready to begin a new adventure, one that begins on a long and dusty trail….

The Reverb Syndicate was formed in 2005 by guitarist Mike Bradford, guitarist/keyboard player James Rossiter, bassist Jeff Welch, and drummer Mike Rifkin with the simple concept of exploring and re-imagining the music of groups like The Ventures and The Shadows and the soundtracks of old spy movies. Following this concept has led them to three independently-released albums, heavy gigging throughout Ontario and Quebec, with headlining performances in places like Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, and as far away New York City, London (England) and Glasgow (Scotland).

The Reverb Syndicate is currently supporting their third effort - Mondo Cacti – a saucy, fun-filled romp with a decidedly spaghetti western flair to it. The Reverb Syndicate plans on hitting stages in Ottawa and beyond in the coming months with even more of the energy that has made their last six years so exciting for everyone who has experienced this band.
