Description
21 of Lon's greatest recordings, including several never before released songs. If you're only going to get one DuQuette CD, this would be it. Includes "Don't Write Me Off", "At Club Pere Lachaise" and "I'm Scared" plus 18 other favorites.
Notes
At 67, Lon DuQuette is at the peak of his powers. Part musician, part magician and 100% entertainer, Lon combines wisdom and wit to create aural delights guaranteed to stimulate your brain stem, warm your cockles and tickle your funny bone. They're also pretty good songs!
A pro musician at 14, part of the 60's folk scene at 18 and on the road with Hoyt Axton, Johnny Rivers and Sammy Davis, Jr. later, Lon morphed into a mage of Western Hermeticism, penning over two dozen books on a wide variety of esoteric topics. In his late 50's Lon rediscovered his musical muse via an admirer-provided ukelele. A documentary and a guitar led him back to songwriting, a record contract and three releases in the last four years.
This collection is an anthology of those works and also includes three songs not previously released on CD.
