Notes

The long awaited solo CD "Falling Awake" by Mike Corrado is here. This CD features 11 tracks consisting of 10 brand new recordings and a new release of "Damn." "Falling Awake" also contains the new release of "On My Watch Tonight" the poignant ballad of a Marine on his journey from boot camp at Parris Island to the front lines and features a guest vocal performance by multi-platinum recording artist Edwin McCain.

Falling Awake contains the song "GET BY" which was recently featured on the hit CBS drama JOAN OF ARCADIA. GET BY played on season 2 episode 21 "Common Thread" and aired on national TV April 15, 2005.

This CD has been several years in the making and is the first full release from Mike Corrado since the last full band recording of Ziller and the Baboon, which was released September 12, 2001. Several of the songs from "Falling Awake" were performed live and appear on the DVD: Mike Corrado Band, Live At Thalian Hall.

The music is filled with pop, rock, funk and a hint of Americana and is a must have for any Mike Corrado Band fans. Guest musicians include: Tommy Brothers on guitars and vocals, Steven Thorne on saxes and backing vocals, Jon Lassiter, John White, John Wade, Harold Smith, Luke Varvell, Edwin McCain and Adrian Duke.

Due to Mike being recalled back to active duty with the Marine Corps after the 9/11 attacks and subsequent deployment to Iraq, there are no immediate plans for Mike to tour in support of this CD. Mike will be posting tour journals and notes while deployed to keep all his fans updated on what's going on.
