STAN BUSH: Emmy-winning songwriter/artist
Praised as a world-class rock singer, Stan Bush is best known for his song “The Touch” featured in “Transformers: The Movie”. An anthem for Transformers fans around the world, "The Touch" was released on Guitar Hero in 2009. “The Touch” from Stan’s last album “In This Life” (named ‘Album of the Year’ for 2007) was also featured in the movie “Boogie Nights,” on Chuck (NBC), and on American Dad (Fox). Another track from the album, “Til All Are One (Transformers Theme)” is featured in the Activision game, “Transformers: War For Cybertron” (June, 2010). And now "The Touch - Power Mix" is featured in the brand new “Transformers: The Fall of Cybertron” game, released August 2012.
In 1997 Stan won an Emmy Award for Best Original Song, "Til I Was Loved By You". Another of his songs "Capture the Dream" was featured in the 1996 Olympics. His tracks were used in two Jean-Claude Van Damme films: "Kickboxer," a major film sequel to the action adventure film, "Bloodsport." Stan has co-written with many top songwriters like Jonathan Cain (Journey), Jim Vallance (Bryan Adams; Aerosmith), and Paul Stanley of Kiss. Stan has toured extensively throughout the U.S. and Europe.
“Dream the Dream” is Stan Bush 11th studio album and is destined to set in stone the singer/songwriter artistic abilities and taste for writing and performing nothing but classy music. With powerful melodies that have made Stan a popular singer/performers in the melodic rock community, “Dream The Dream” is another gem that will please his old and newer fans. “We’ve been working on the new album for a year and a half, and I’m very happy with it” says Bush, “The last album, “In This Life” got great reviews and though we had to work really hard, I think we’ve got ourselves another amazing album. Some of the songs have a ‘go for it’ message, and some are about love, life and a search for meaning”.
