Melodic progressive death metal with a South American flare and surprisingly strong songwriting and production, it makes for one of the year's (2014) more pleasant surprises.

Guest appearances include: Glen Drover (Megadeth, King Diamond), Ralph Santolla (ex-Deicide, ex-Obituary, Death), Whitfield Crane (Ugly Kid Joe), Christian Älvestam (Scar Symmetry, Solution .45, Miseration), Ole Halvard Sveen (Extol, Lengsel), and the Costa Rican Minister of Culture, Manuel Obregón.
The CD was recorded at SoloHits Studios in San José, Costa Rica with Swedish producer Thomas "Plec" Johansson (SCAR SYMMETRY, WATAIN, ONSLAUGHT), who travelled all the way to Costa Rica to work with the band closely for about 22 days. Then mixed and mastered by Thomas Johansson at The Panic Room Studios in Skara, Sweden.
INSTINCTS tells stories based on the region´s flora and fauna; the richest wildlife imaginable. The album focuses on nature, and its gravest threat: mankind. Songs are based on animals, insects and natives. Lyrics explore two different perspectives: animals´ lifestyle in their environment, and humans not being able to respect it and co-exist with them.
