Butterfly on the Wheel is the debut album from 4 Million Silhouettes featuring Mike Kovacs and Mark Empire (from Mike Kovacs and the Post-Modern Tribe) and powerhouse female singer Mac Dobbins. This guitar based album is ten songs of that get right to the point. Dobbin's wide vocal range and color an be seen in her Alanis Morissette style vocals on Unchain My Heart and Stone in Hand to swing blues on Right in Front of You to dream like ballad on Grey Parade. Mike Kovacs also sings a few songs such as the Bob Mould power pop style song Better Better Best. The album also features Julia Kost on cello (Sympathy) and James Oesterich on organ and keyboard (Right in Front of You).
