This is the last of the recordings of The Tower. This album was originally released under another name, Redshift, because members of the band decided it was time for a change. However most followers of the band still called us The Tower as did a lot of venues we played. On this album we started to change from our synth-pop roots to becoming more synth-rock. Included on this digital version of The Essential Cushion is the single 'All I need' and the various mixes of Insistence that a record company got us too do, and are not available on the original cd version. So from Dean, Fyl and Neil.... we hope you enjoy the album.
