6 Finger Lefty covers some wide, but consistent area in this 11 track collection. From the rock/pop opening track to the ending 50's flavored "Everywhere You Go" they include songs tinged with folk, country, jazz, and classic rock influences. All the songs are accessible. If you like the southern rock feel, try "MYOB" with it's powerful slide guitars. If folk is your bend, try "Tulane" to get some acoustic guitars and floating harmonies. If more country is your thing, listen to "Monroe County" where there is ample pedal steel and country licks. To get a pop-ish chorus stuck in your head, maybe go with "True", "Kelsey", or "Strange". They even include the tired-of-the-road song "Awake". Overall, a balanced collection of songs with some depth to the music and lyrics.
