Notes

As a multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter Aaron Ball has seen the Stages across the United States in a variety of roles, and is gearing up for his Annual "Summertour" 2013 This will be a very special tour this year, as it is Aaron's CD release tour! The much anticipated Full-Length LP will have recordings of several new songs, such as the country/rock guitar driven "Omaha," as well as a remix of the Hit "Second Gear" which received substantial radio airplay when it was originally released in 2010. Aaron performs and tours as a solo act with a guitar and sometimes a piano, and also travels with his Band, "the Aaron Ball Band" where he is the guitarist and frontman. To go to an Aaron Ball live show is an experience. Whether as a solo musician or with a band, Aaron has the ability to reach out and GRAB YOU with not only his songwriting and voice, but also with the energetic, sometimes outrageous crowd stimulating performances. His songs range from funny and humorous, to danceable pop and country, to dark and angry rock. With this variety of styles, he maintains a personal connection and performance that is suitable for audiences of all ages. Aaron's soulful voice and passionate songwriting could easily be compared to singers and songwriters such as Brandon Flowers of the Killers, Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters and Ben Harper.

Originally as a Drummer, Aaron developed a love for rhythm and timing while playing Jazz in school, and in several rock bands in Idaho. "It was a little easier to stand out being from Idaho, but very difficult to find other comparably motivated musicians, and aspire to being more than local bar band," says Aaron. Although he was a drummer, Aaron also wrote books full of lyrics and poems, so he bought a guitar and started teaching himself to play to as an outlet for his creative storytelling. Combine that with a talent to write catchy melodies and unforgettable hooks vocally, and accompany these on either a guitar or a piano, then add a live show that will draw you in and keep you moving, and BAM! Thats what Aaron is all about!

One of the first bands Aaron recorded with and toured with was as the guitarist, songwriter and frontman for the Band "Somewhere in the Middle." Aaron Toured the US multiple times, Particularly the western States and promoted SITM's first two albums, which he wrote and funded, "Stepping Stones" (2008), and then the band's 2010 "Purple" EP, recorded at Fudge Studios in New Orleans, LA and produced by Tom Drummond.(Better than Ezra)

Since leaving SITM in 2011, Aaron has been The driving force behind his own band, "The Aaron Ball Band" sometimes called "Aaron and the B'All Stars." Aaron has maintained a consistent touring schedule, focusing on the western states, and has developed a very faithful following from Denver to Las Vegas, From Los Angeles to Seattle. The current Aaron Ball lineup includes Chris Wheelock on bass guitar, Dave Bowman on Keyboards, and Spencer Ruchti on Drums.

Despite the touring and load of other projects, Aaron has just finished up his first solo album as Aaron Ball. Self-produced and recorded at "Sound of Light Studio" in southeast Idaho, Aaron employed friends and musicians from around the country to make the record. The album was originally scheduled to be out last fall, however that changed after Aaron was ran over by a tractor while working on the family farm early June of 2012. Miraculously, and possibly out of sheer defiance, just two weeks after surgery on Broken legs, Aaron was up and managed to perform every single date of his Summertour 2012. All the while, Aaron and his band have continued to make a name for themselves as one of the most entertaining live shows on the road, selling out venues around the country and playing to over 200,000 people as an opening act for "Smashmouth" and "Sublime" at the 2011 Seattle Hempfest Festival. Aaron has also shared the stage with some of todays hottest rock acts, such as "Shinedown, Sick Puppies, and Red.

Aaron has toured and performed as a solo act for over 10 years and has seen much success there. Nominated for a SIAC entertainer of the year, he was also listed as one of the top 100 independent artists in the independent Artist Registry last year as well as maintaing the number one alternative acoustic rock artist spot in his region on Reverbnation for several years. "Once on a solo acoustic tour in Eugene, OR," says Aaron, " I was accidentally entered into a battle of the Bands. I went up, played my set, was the unanimous winner of the contest, and then was disqualified because it was just me, and not a band!"

Additionally, Aaron Plays Drums in the dance band, "Gas, Food, and Lodging" was the band leader for the pop singer "Izumi" from Tokyo, Japan on her Western US tour and has been a guest musician in several other projects on Drums, Vocals, Guitar, and Bass. Aaron shares his love of music wherever he goes, and regardless of what he's holding! "There is nothing better," he says, "Than to create something, and then share it with people and see how it can touch their lives. What a great blessing, and responsibility it is to have music in your heart and soul."
