I'm in Love With the TV Weather Girl

I am the author of a series of books entitled Lyrics in Search of Music; this is the first song that I was able to put music to, hoping to do a lot more in the future.
My name is Aaron C. Jones. I was raised In Metairie Louisiana, by my father and mother Edward & Edna Jones, Along with my sisters and brothers Linda, Shirley, Mary, Eddie, Debbie, David James, and David Frank. My father worked at the American Standard plant in New Orleans Louisiana after the war, He was a Pear Harbor survivor. My mother is a housewife and awesome mom. I am the baby of this bunch.
I was just your average kid liked to play video games. We also liked to play street football with my nephews. Friday nights was always Risk night for me and my nephews; I was never a great student. After school I went to work for a local video store. Years later we were bought out by another video chain. I then moved to Dallas, Texas for three years. We were bought out by another video chain. I then moved back to Metairie when my mother had a stroke in 1994.From that point on my life has never been the same. After her stroke I took care of my mother and father until my dad passed away in January 2001.From that point and to this point I take care of my mother. She is ninety years young.
I started writing back in the late 1980’s. My brother had a band so I started to write poems in the form of songs. But he said he could not write music to words that has already been written. So I still wrote anyway until the early 1990’s. When Katrina hit in 2005 I lost my old computer and I did not get another one until 2009. I had it for about one month then the flood gates opened up. One of the first things that I wrote was “I’m in Love with the TV Weather Girl”
Fast forward to 2014, I was able to find someone to put Music to my Lyrics and made a dream come true. My hope is to be able to do more of this in the future, God willing. I have a wide range of Lyrics ready for some music; I just need to find the time and money...
So this song was four years in the making, and has been a life learning experience. I hope you will fall in love with “I’m in Love with the TV Weather Girl” just as I did.
