A flowering era is born. The Ambiance and lyrics seed from an urban fantasy, a fraction with surreal flavor, like a mixture of frames caught in 360º during eye spinning, an aesthetic of the mind.

A BETA MOVEMENT were funded in 2008 in the city of Oporto. Pedro Cordeiro and Secundino Oliveira as the creative core of the band, opened the project to the experimentation of indie compositions exposed by digital manipulations.
Adopting the name and influence of the aesthetic experience of Max Wertheimer's 1912 "beta movement", the concept of the human perception of a nonexistent movement.
They made the 1st EP in 2010, and won the category Alternative Rock Rendez Worten, the single enters 3rd place in Music World Radio, and got airplay on national radio, interviews and concerts in concert halls of Oporto and Lisbon.
In July 2011, Marcela Freitas joins the band (ex Papercutz) and takes the lead vocal offering strength and delicacy to the interpretations, the feminine aesthetic now incorporates A Beta Movement.
