Description
A journey through all my major musical influences. A kaleidoscopic rock album that takes the listener in many rooms from rock to folk music, from reggae to progressive music, without missing style and personality.
Notes
This is my first solo album. After playing for years in a band as a guitarist, I felt the need to start my own personal journey.
I've always written songs and although not a singer, I felt that the right thing was to tell my stories personally. So just for fun I started writing songs for myself until I had enough for an album. I went into the studio with very clear ideas and some demos of songs to provide musicians as a guide. I did not know how it would be the end result, but after some time I can be satisfied to have decided to take this path.
The album contains ten original songs, written, composed and arranged by me.
For the song "Guitar Hero" I asked my friend Mick Abrahams, founding guitarist of Jethro Tull, to sing and play guitar. His sense of humor and his talent as an actor were perfect for the song.
"On a winter walk" was missing a part of the keyboard to complete the arrangement. I asked Beppe Crovella, historical keyboardist of the band "Arts & Crafts" of playing the organ on the song. He heard her once and made a superb take that gave new life to the song.
It's a rock album and I hope you'll enjoy :)
