25 Pearl will tell you their sound is a blend of psychedelic, folk, and indie rock. You could probably add a few more genres to the mix to cover the overall depth displayed on these well crafted songs. Their newest EP "Celluloid Novelties", recorded and produced by the band throughout 2013, provides listener a glimpse into their eclectic list of influences. From the classic rock guitar licks of “Un Por Magada” to the pure indie jam vibe of the EP’s closing tack “What I’m Gonna Do”, each listen peels back another layer of remarkable sonic structure. As with their previous release, 2011’s the Captain’s Chair, lead singer Scott Anderson delivers the listener hook-laden melodies you are sure to be singing along to.
