Description

Pulling from jazz, odd meters, live performances, homemade loops, and other technology, this collection of recordings features the work of Todd Urban under his studio moniker "A Reason for Logic".

Note

A Reason for Logic incorporates live performances, live altered samples, spliced improvisation, and new synthesis techniques in order to push the boundaries of music and the mind forward. Only For Speakers is the debut album of A Reason for Logic. Based on an inside joke about how a PC should only be purchased with speakers since "the future costs more", the title also resonates that while this music is cerebral, it is only intended for your speakers. It is not edible.

Todd Urban is a musician living in the NYC metropolitan area. When not performing at night, he runs Urban Sound Studio, which brings in everything from solo artists looking for backing tracks to full ensembles and bands.
