With three full length albums under their belt and an insane live show, 2nd Reality is a band of great substance.

Driven by the rhythm of the likes of Led Zeppelin and Guns and Roses, combined with the structure of Pearl Jam and Stone Temple Pilots, the band has successfully created their own, unique sound that is far from dated.

Professionalism shines through on stage and the fans take notice, constantly asking if 2nd Reality's originals are covers.

Plowing the road for their current release, "Unsolicited", 2nd Reality currently holds dates throughout the tri-state area, including Manhattan and the New Jersey Shore.

2nd Reality also plans to take "Unsolicited" on a self promoted tour across the United States this summer.

This third and most emotionally extended album is the culmination of one month at Trax East recording studio in South River, New Jersey.

2nd Reality has traveled an arduous but dedicated road in the nine year band history.

The band caters to fans across the globe, spreading their sound anywhere they can 2nd Reality was welcomed for a three week tour overseas in Portugal, as well as winning a headlining spot on the 89.5 WSOU sponsored "Tattoo Palooza." 2nd Reality has played local hot spots such as The Stone Pony, The Birchill, Club Bene, Love Sexy and Montclair State University.

The band has been well received and found its way on the air waves of 105.5 WDHA, 89.5 WSOU and G106.3.

2nd Reality is comprised of five talented young men from Central New Jersey.

The band maneuvers down abstract and technical avenues in their approach.

2nd Reality is a fine mix of raw and schooled talents.

Bassist Nelson Aguiar received a Bachelor of Science in Music Technology from Mercy College in White Plains, New York.

His vast knowledge of sound reinforcement and recording are an asset both on stage and in the studio.

Jim Jankowski honed his licks on the west coast, receiving a certificate from the Guitar Institute of Technology.

Drummer, Frank Perez, and Guitarist, Sandro Almeida, bring 15 years background to their respective trades.

Justin Pelissier's passionate vocals stand as the acme of the bands essence.

The sound of 2nd Reality is constantly in flux.

While keeping within the context of the bands broad abilities, the songs never run stale; thematically or musically.

This is due in large part to the open forum when it comes to the writing process.

All five members draw form their personal experiences and influences and all contribute to the composing process.
