Notes
Reviews and Honors:
"A spoken word artist and poet in the Baltimore area, Adeke Rose shares with openness and honesty the numerous challenges she has faced in her life, such as disability. By overcoming this personal trauma, she has found much success in transforming poetry to bring healing, coping and, above all, hope to readers..."
— CBS Baltimore, Best Local Poets In Baltimore
"Though she is well known in Baltimore and Washington DC., the Gambrills resident has gone to several states to share her messages, including Texas, New York and California. She does it because it's fun and therapeutic , but more importantly because it shatters a barrier and allows strangers with common issues to connect..."
— Zach Sparks, Arundel Voice
