Young American Double Action Revolver is a Chicago based, all original indie-Blues Power Trio channeling the sounds of the great Delta and Hill Country Blues artists. Howlin’ Wolf, R.L Burnside, Junior Kimbrough, the North Mississippi All Stars and the Black Keys are in heavy rotation and perpetually in our personal speakers. Our new 10-song CD was cut live in six hours, from set up and mic placement to completed disc with no over dubs. We wrote and recorded three previously well acclaimed CD’s while playing all over the Chicago area in the Blues Rock band Voodoo Pilot (R.I.P 1999-2011), but this was different. We dialed everything in, cracked cold ones and floored it! By nightfall, that was that. And we’ll be back at it again soon. Until then, in the words of the great Captain Beefheart, “Don’t forget to walk with the devil, but carry a church key”. Thanks for listening.
