Notes

DELLA TERRA (previously known as Aegis Integer) was born into the Redwood Empire in 2005, guided by the six hands of its three sons: Danny Badorine, David Blanchard, and J. K. Norris. Maintaining their individuality, while channeling their collective core, they nourish a synergetic interconnection and willingness to engage in new ways of experiencing the infinite world of vibration called music.

In Greek mythology, "Aegis" [ee-jis] refers to a shield or breastplate. It signifies protection and/or guidance. "Integer" [in-ti-jer] refers to a complete unit and/or entity—a whole embedded within a greater whole. What this means to you is up for interpretation.

In 2008, the band changed their name to "Della Terra" which simply means, "of the earth."

Navigating the world with music as our guide. . .

“Sand Timer” Reviews:

"Sand Timer is so rich that it is quite difficult to be able to describe it in-depth, but its result. . . is essential.”

“Particular and personal at the same time: a mixture of technique and melody. . ."

"Mixes elements of 'classic' sounding progressive rock with a much more contemporary stylistic sensibility. . ."

"The lyric seems very personal, and the vocal performance easily conveys the emotion inherent in the lyrical imagery."

"I love the way the rhythmic meter shifts subtly underneath the arrangement, the expressive sound of the vocal performance, and the feeling of simpatico you guys have with one another as instrumentalists."

"The music you guys make seems very 'intelligent' to me. It requires that the listener really pay attention to what's happening. Superb."
