Description
A cohesive futuristic blend of hard rock, electro-funk, and contemporary pop all wrapped in a concise concept album lyrically dealing with the idea of a pseudo apocalypse and the resulting fear spread by the media.
Notes
Bio: AfiN!ty consists of two artists Euphonius and AdmiralAWOL who are self-taught songwriters, multi-instrumentalists, singers, recording engineers and producers. We are not a live band, but a songwriting/production team who's objective is to put out music for the love of the art and the beauty of creating.
Album synopsis: "The End of ̶d̶a̶y̶s̶ FEAR" - A concise concept album (EP), dealing with the looming idea of a pseudo apocalypse and the potential hysteria resulting from the media’s repeated broadcasting of doomsday messages. The lyrical content tackles the issue of fear spread by the media and how it influences our lives and the world’s population as a collective. Furthermore, it deals with our ability to transcend this and to potentially reach a higher level of spiritual awareness. The album is intended to be experienced from beginning to end as one composite piece of art. Though listed as three separate tracks, the album is furthermore broken down into additional movements as shown: Trk 1. TRUE OR FALSE PROPHECY Part 1 True or False Prophecy Part 2 Better Trk 2. HEART AND MIND Part 1 Caution to the Wind Part 2 Heart and Mind Part 3 Doomsday Forecast Trk 3. SCOFF AT THE ENEMY
Here are some wonderful comments/compliments from people who had listened to the album:
"This is not the kind of music I normally listen to, but for some reason I found my self really finding this pretty good stuff. It feels multi-textured." - Marie Rhodes
"Wow this is pretty cool! Thanks for sharing. It sounds like Prince and Radiohead's love child. Haha! I dig it, good vibrations... ...their style is so different and layered. It caught me off guard at first as I didn't know what to expect but it really sucks you in and gets you grooving." - Laura
