Description
Influenced by bands like Tool, Chevelle, Pink Floyd, The Smashing Pumpkins, Deftones, Coheed And Cambria, Muse and more, AC has spent every spare moment crafting and honing their sound and trying to convey their message through music.
Notes
Hailing from Charlotte, NC, Absoulute Convixtion was formed in May 2011. Consisting of members Andy Rogers, Paul Fleuret', Corey Tossas and Ray Bacallao, the band strives to make music which is thought provoking, meaningful, and most of all, true to themselves while maintaining a constant groove and melody which in the end they hope will inspire people to find their own pathes and forge their own identities based on what they know, not what they are told.
Taking a cue from society and history, all members write and play what they feel and believe at the core of their hearts and souls, and their hope is the feeling and message of their music will be received as its meant to be.

Even with a style "uniquely their own" their sound will undoubtedly under go many a metamorphosis throughout the bands life, one thing is certain, the message being spoken by each member will not change, and that message is, and will always be to know who you are, without being told who you are, and to always read between the lines and see without blinders.
"Absoulute Convixtion, another new band with a distinctive and new sound kicked some major ass! From Charlotte, NC, Absoulute Convixtion describes themselves as "a little bit of this, and a little bit of that...", which fit them perfect. You can hear the different influences in their music but not some blatant rip off of some other bands style or conforming to a style that is in vogue at the moment. I am eagerly waiting for them to put out an EP or full length soon!"

“With a wildly different style, Absoulute Convixtion grabbed the mics for the next segment of the show. They definitely presented the most melodic vocals of the night, complete with some vocal harmonies. New singer Corey Tossas makes a fantastic addition to the band, creating a deeper dimension of hard rock for the band than ever before. Overall, the band’s sound is a cocktail of Creed and Cold with a twist of Deftones, and I enjoyed every minute of it. The band’s cover of Tool’s “Stinkfist” definitely got the gist of the song, and I am betting they will hone in on it with even more detail as they break in the newbie vocalist. The high point of the set for me was the ballad “Nothing Is,” with soaring vocals over catchy, chunky riffs. This band definitely can do the heavy rock ballads with the best of ‘em.”
