Description
The long awaited concept album inspired by the forest at the bottom of Mt. Fuji in Japan and possible secrets held within. Heavy enough for metal fans. Brainy enough for prog fans. A B W S delivers.
Notes
A man with the purest of intentions enlists in the military to provide for his young family. Plagued with recurring nightmares from the age of five, he follows orders to train in the forest at the base of Mount Fuji, only to see his nightmares unfold before his eyes. He narrowly escapes death. All other members of his company were not as lucky. His life devolves into one of confusion, victimization, and a general loss of all things he holds dear. Ghosts from the forest refuse to allow him to escape, and systematically remove all people that stand in the way (including all members of his family). Placed into solitary confinement by his superiors, he begins to accept his fate. Seen as the only surviving member from the original company, the military decides to send him back in to lead a new group of trained assassins to exact revenge on whatever guerrilla element remains inside. Is his resolve strong enough to escape a second time?
A Bullet Well Spent comes from Jackson Mississippi. This project has been a long process, but the results speak for themselves. After filling out the concept over the course of 2+ years. ABWS went in to make this record. Within days of completing tracks, a tornado destroyed the studio. For a time, ABWS wasn't even sure this record had been saved. Graciously, the tracks were found and completing the project became a priority, but there was a studio to rebuild. Over the next year to year and a half ABWS finished overdubs and interludes (with the help of some of the most talented individuals Jackson has to offer). This record is the result of a long haul of effort and time, but trust me, you have never heard anything like this coming out of Jackson Mississippi.
