Description

This is music from the heart of the Midwest (US), that still incorporates musical landscapes that step far beyond its geographical origins and time period; also, it rocks...

Notes

This album is a culmination of numerous artistic ideals and teenage mentalities in that the songs for this album were written at differing times over the last five years. That being said, all of its imagery and subject matter are products of legitimate emotions felt and lived by the band. Where there is joy, there was joy; where there is heartbreak, there was heartbreak; where there is resignation, so also, was there a period of resign. In this sense, all songs, though perhaps inspired by events long passed, stand as testaments to a period in our souls that, at the time, seemed like a perhaps painfully fleeting or, perhaps insurmountable, present. Thus, it is our hope that in listening to these songs if you find yourself in a similarly daunting present, they may stand as proof to you that five, young men out of Freeburg, Illinois, as well as an endless list of names in human history, have lived on to tell the tale--and so can you. This album is more than our art; it has been, and is, our life. Thanks to all who listen and may it help you to recognize the songs being written in your own heart.

John Dennis (lead vocals, guitar)
Mason Lakatos (lead guitar, BGV)
Mark Benton (Drums)
Taylor Fehrenz (Bass guitar, BGV)
Hans Carpenter (Keyboards, Mandolin, BGV)
Also, a special thanks to Daniel Allen for his work on BGV's and comic relief.
