Epic Guitar solos, Intricate riffs, a pummeling groove, soaring diverse and aggressive vocals.

Notes

A Crime Of Passion is a Modern Metal band formed in Seattle WA, 2010. They have become known for their energetic live shows, tightness and technical proficiency. Hailing from Chicago, New Jersey, Boston, Missoula and Seattle its members diverse influences blend the pummeling math metal assault of bands like Veil Of Maya and Mnemic while incorporating the dynamic and melodic vocal style of bands like Trivium and Slipknot. Their complex vocal layers, screams and harmonies offer a depth and range not found in the greater metal scene.

A Crime of Passion put out their debut EP,
Consume: Receive, in 2012. Seattle Weekly wrote:

“The type of recording metal bands spend their careers building towards, Consume:Receive is rich with intricate guitar solos, stop-and-go breakdowns, and spastic, bottomless vocals.”

On Ouroboros, A Crime Of Passion explores concepts of history, society, and the violence that encompasses them. The title describes the cyclical nature of the struggles of humanity while the album expresses an understanding of the futility of this journey in a greater cosmic narrative.

The culmination of theme and tones forges an undeniably unique and heavy soundscape.
