Description

A wonderful folk-punk band from Reno, NV.

Note

Actors Killed Lincoln's debut album, "The Land is Unfamiliar," is a collection of songs gathered over three different band incarnations. The band's music is a raw blend of acoustic folk melody and amplified rock energy. The album features frenzied violin and accordion harmonies by the Lyons brothers, Alan and Daniel, relentless rhythms from drummer Jenkins Robinson, dexterous cello and bass playing from Matthew Kaminski, and intricate horn and sax work from Zachary Rees. At once cacophonous and harmonious, the band swirls around singer and lyricist Kent Irwin's songs like a drunken typhoon.
