Soon after Alana Burner was born in Pittsfield, Mass., her first career
move was to mentally force her parents to move to New York.
At the age of nine, Alana decided her purpose in life was to be a singer. She nurtured this thru discouragement, bad singing teachers, no mentor & a vortex of negativity. At times her desire was forced to retreat & incubate but never die.
When the time was right, the artist within emerged into a singer/songwriter & dynamic performer. Her ability to weave intricate harmonies & a no-quit attitude caught the attention of several recording studio owners who donated the down time to develop her music skills.
The key to this artist is diversity. In today's cross-over markets her versatility guides her through the audio/visual mediums of artistic expression. In her writing & performing no one type of music defines her style. Her vocal inter-pretations are unique to the song, the story & circumstances of her real life role as Alana Burner.
Alana currently studies with great vocal coach Tania Travers, writes with mentor, producer & world class engineer Tom Chianti* and draws from a never-ending source of positive energy.
