By 1991, OBSIDIANA, an acoustic guitar duet project was formed. Throughout 20 years, with great musicians’ contributions, I produced 5 albums with original instrumental music described as Flamenco, Rock- Jazz and Mexican Huapango Fusion, otherwise known as World Music.
During this time, OBSIDIANA performed in most of the main National and International Music Festivals in Mexico, as well as private and public events. Small and large audiences in public squares, parks, concert halls, theaters, schools and universities, witnessed the powerful live act that the band consistently offered.
It is my hope, that when you have the opportunity to listen to this music, something click inside and it will became an unforgettable experience for the listener as it is for those who perform.
This is a collection of tracks out of those albums recorded in 1999 and 2006. Hope you enjoy listening!
