Alexis's debut album "Rise Again" was co-authored by Alexis Chapa, Jassel Chapa, Arcadio "Midnight" Narvaez & Luke Villareal on Guitar. This album was prduced and recorded at Midnight Studio, and mastered at Baron Studio, both in Houston TX.
Notes
"Rise Again" is more than just a couple of people who sat together one day and decided to write songs. It really began in Miami after being on a national television show called La Voz Kids on Telemundo. Alexis made it past auditions but unfortunately her stay was cut short after being eliminated in the battle rounds. But the Lord works in mysterious ways, and when one door closes, another door opens. A young man by the name of Arcadio Narvaez, aka Midnight, liked what he heard and wanted to work with Alexis. This new friendship between Midnight and Alexis along with her family sparked hope, determination, motivation and optimism in Alexis to keep going and to keep working hard to reach her goals. After weeks in the studio, the result is what you hear. Alexis chose the song "Rise Again" as the title for this debut album because she felt that it not only fits her story, but it also fits other people's stories. People who have felt they have fallen, who have felt they are beaten, but have risen back again. She dedicates this album to all those who have stumbled, fallen, but won’t give up.
