Description

This is what happens when southern rock meets the blues and they drive down a country road. A mixture of heart felt vocals and slicing guitar.

Notes

Will Bell grew up playing music in the Tulsa, Ok. Music scene in the 80's. Tulsa was a rich environment for a young musician with music in his heart. Will went on to form various groups throughout the years eventually starting a band called “Nuthin Fancy” named after Will’s beloved Lynyrd Skynyrd album of that title. This band would play the Tulsa music scene for years to come headlining at the famed “Cain’s Ballroom” on many occasions, and also getting radio air play on the local FM radio station. Will eventually moved to Santa Fe, NM. and in the eighties played the local club circuit with “Jon Asher and the Emergency Blues Band”. Will then formed "Big Step" and this band became the house band at the famed “El Farol” restaurant/club on Canyon Road. After a stint in the Colorado ski circuit music scene with "Delaney and Friends", Will moved to Boise, Id. Where he currently resides. Will has opened for blues legend CoCo Montoya , Jefferson Starship, Paul Delay Blues band and Bruce Willis and the Accelerators, to name a few. Will released his first CD “Once in a blue moon” in November of 2008. The CD has had a great audience response and is starting to get some radio air play. He is working on a second CD that will slide even more in to traditional blues to be released in the winter of 2009.
