AFTERBURN is Joe, Rich, John, & Mike, four of F.D.N.Y.'s Bravest. We will never forget the great loss, courage, and ultimate sacrifices made by our brothers every day, especially on September 11th, 2001.
From the ashes of September 11th arose the desire to celebrate the memory of our lost brothers through music.
Founded in 2009 by Joe, AFTERBURN has a sound and story unlike any other rock band. We strive to create music that will get your fists pumping and hips rocking,and deliver a memorable and energetic live performance. Our experiences in the fire department, in life, and in our love of music brought us together to fuse our musical experience and influences to create our distinguished sound.
We have finished recording our first album and it will be available March of 2014 on iTunes, amazon, and other popular digital download stores.
Our aim: keep the music high energy, memorable, melodic, & kick ass. We can Never Forget how precious every moment of life is, and we try to show it by celebrating life through music and in every song and show we play.
Our "To the Grave" demo has drawn much attention with it's blazing guitar work, pounding drums, and haunting vocals, as well as "Make My Mark", a low down and heavy rocking tune. Both demos are on our reverbnation page, and is just a taste of what is coming.
