Description
Featuring "God, Guns, NASCAR", a NASCAR & NFL stadium favorite! A rollickin' brew of homespun American groove in the tradition of the Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers, the Band, and Old Crow Medicine Show!
Notes
"Real music for real people" - Tom Netherland, Bristol Herald-Courier
Formed in 2007, the Rhythm Brewers quickly gained a reputation as a fun, crowd-pleasing band playing its version of "Backwoods Boogie" in the East Tennessee/Southwest Virginia/Western North Carolina area. The band has received regular airplay and been featured live on WETS-89.5 FM’s Studio One and been featured alongside artists such as Carrie Rodriguez, the Dixie Bee Liners, the Hot Seats, the New Familiars, Blue Mother Tupelo and Rob Russell and the Sore Losers.
The single "God, Guns, NASCAR" was featured music play on the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup circuit and 2012 home games of the NFL's Tennessee Titans, and was played at the 2013 Super Bowl in New Orleans.
"The View from Here" is the band's first full-length release and showcases the songwriting of Joe Martin & Marion Dunn, the added vocals and hot mandolin of Lonny Finley, against the backbeat rhythm of Jeff Dean. Influenced by everything from the Grateful Dead to Bill Monroe, the Rhythm Brewers blend a sound of blues, bluegrass, country, jazz, rock, and reggae into their own homebrewed groove.
