Description

This is the first Airheart album with all original material. The songs range from total acoustic finger-picking to blues/gospel sound, and just about everything in between. Pop/Americana that'll remain with you from your first listening.

Notes

Produced by singer/songwriter Robert "BlindDog" Cook out of East Texas. The acoustic trio provided the framework, penny whistle and three part harmonies - then handed it over to BlindDog to add his magical touch with additional guitar leads, bass and drums.

Songs were written by Dan Garner and Amelia Blake, with Paula O'Neal adding a touch here and there. Most of the songs come from the creative mind of Dan Garner - some written just before recording, others pulled from way back in his songwriting history.

Highlights of the collection: "Up An Old Dirt Road", recently written, has a down-home feel, a foot-tapping feel-good song. "Come Back To Me" was written decades ago, but given an updated sound, and invites one to sing along on the first listening. "What's Coming To You" was written in the 80s but never recorded for release. BlindDog's production gives it a haunting, dreamlike quality. "If Your Heart Gets Broken" sounds as though it could have been recorded by Crosby, Stills & Nash or Peter, Paul & Mary - fully acoustic and three part harmony throughout the song.

This collection of fan favorites is the culmination of four years of live performances, promised and finally delivered.
