Description

Melodic 80's Style Power Metal.

Notes

American Power Metal from Cleveland’s glorious underground metal scene. Formed in 1983, WRETCH became one of Cleveland’s most heralded underground metal acts, releasing the classic track “Life” on Auburn Records “Heavy Artillery” compilation album in 1989. After disbanding in 1989, WRETCH lay dormant for decades until their 2006 reformation to release the full-length "Reborn" CD. In 2007, WRETCH released the follow-up CD, “Make this Garden Burn” to coincide with their appearance at Germany’s Headbanger Open Air Festival in 2007. (The title track from “Make this Garden Burn” serves as the Headbangers Open Air Festival’s theme song to this day).

WRETCH has shared the stage with many prominent heavy metal acts over the years, such as Exodus, King Diamond, Lizzy Bordon, Hammerfall, Flotsam & Jetsam, The Michael Schenker Group, Manowar, Sinner, Firewind, Arsis, Nightrage, David T. Chastaine, C.J.S.S., White Wizzard, Avenger, Candlemass, and Halloween among others.

WRETCH's line-up includes Ron Emig (Vocals), Nick Giannakos (Guitar), Michael Stephenson (Guitar), Tim Frederick (Bass), and Evan Gottschalk (Drums).
