Walker Ikard is considered one of the best songwriters in the music world. He writes songs, along with the beautiful melodies, that appeal to people world-wide. His songs touch the hearts of people who hear them.
Although Walker Ikard’s songs continue to receive major radio airplay on radio stations, he still says that he is just a down-to-earth country boy with another song to write and sing.
Walker Ikard’s music career got off to an early start because of the inspiration of his Mother, Osie “Whitaker” Ikard, and the encouragement of his Father, James Edd Ikard.
His Mother and her sister, Exie, billed as the WHITAKER SISTERS, were early Stars of Radio.
Walker is truly just a Country boy with another Country song to write. He is a natural talent in that he writes his own songs, sings all his songs and plays rhythm guitar. He owns his own record company and independent label.
Ikard is truly an “EXCITING” entertainer. Off stage, he is just like any other guy kicking around town, known here in his local community of North Alabama for his major success in music.
Walker remains a very humble individual and thanks God every day for his wonderful up-bringing, wonderful parents and being blessed to grow up in a loving home filled with the beautiful sound of music.
