"An Awesome Expression of Pure Rock"

"The Wild Deer capture the essence of what pure Rock and Roll is about. Great depth and lyrics to this awesome first album. Its amazing this band hasn't been discovered yet. EVERY song on this CD is awesome. Each song grows on you the more you listen to it. Not to be missed are the backing vocals and some great guitar riffs and solos. A MUST!!!!

From the New York Daily News "Rush and Molloy" gossip pages, Tuesday May 30 2007-

"Singer-songwriter Ed Fingerling got an instant payback from the karma credit bureau when his band, the Wild Deer, played for the Marines for Fleet Week in Times Square. Director Charles Evered, who was shooting scenes with actor Ethan Peck (grandson of Gregory) nearby, was entranced by the music and decided to include it in his movie, Adopt a Sailor."

Produced by Leo Overtoom, known for his work with Ben Folds, The Wild Deer's 11-song debut cd "LIVE FREE" features New York Dolls lead guitarist Steve Conte on "Watch Your Step," and Felice Rosser of NYC rock band FAITH, who sings on "Like Dragonflies" and "Grass."

Additionally, there have been several developments with songs from "Live Free" prior to its release:

• The song "God's Eyes" was placed in rotation on Brookdale NJ public radio station WBJB 90.5 The NIGHT
www.wbjb.org

• "God's Eyes" was played on NYC's WXRK, "New York's Only Classic Rock Station Q 104.3 FM," on Jonathan Clarke's influential "Out of the Box" program.

• The song "Danny Felter" was placed in the nationally-released motion picture "Snow Blind" www.snowblindthemovie.com and www.myspace.com/snowblindmovie

• The songs "Rise," "Grass," and "For My People" were placed in an independently-released motion picture "La Vida Blanca," which is currently under consideration for selection to several film festivals. www.lavidablanca.com
