Description

Whither the Tide has elements from industrial metal, rock and electronic dance music in their songs featuring varied vocals, strong melodies, Pronounced synths, crisp guitars and a distinct percussive style.

Notes

The Lunar Phase Volume One kicks off a two-part concept for Whither the Tide. Conceptually, the songs look at the relationship of the Earth and Moon as a love story. Each track touches on a different topic from the excitement of a new relationship, the moment of realizing you are in love, jealousy, ecstasy and content. While taking these humanistic feelings into consideration, the lyrics and music never forget these are stellar bodies; that the Earth needs the Moon for life to exist as we know it.

Volume One is the earlier time of the night, when the Moon first appears in our night sky to when it is nearing it's highest point, full of promise and romance. The songs are often more upbeat showing signs of underlying tension and desire as the songs progress.

The Lunar Phase Volume One was engineered, mixed and master by Wally Joseph of Pacific Underground Recordings & Entertainment. Produced by Whither the Tide and Wally Joseph.
