Notes
Alice Through The Windshield Glass are a Tech-Deathcore band from Sydney Australia, founded in 2007. Having perfected their own brand of down under death metal, ATTWG spent most of their years brutalizing and destroying venues with their liveshows. The blistering riffage from Guitarists Grant Eidintas and Adrian Sahid, accompanied by the low drop A rumble of bassist Rob Anderson and the mechanized blast beats from drummer Tim Cetin, provided the perfect musical backdrop for vocalist Dave Stanton's unique style of gutterals and pig squeals. Australia was not ready for this, but the band persisted, and finally their homeland succumbed to the aural battery that is Alice.
And then, the band was hit hard by the leaving of founding member Dave.
In October 2011, Dave made the decision to leave the band for personal reasons. Having always considered Dave a friend first and foremost, ATTWG wished Dave the best of luck, and began a long, arduous search for a new singer. After multiple unsuccessful auditions - finding a perfect fitting frontman was far more difficult than originally conceived - Alice were forced to consider alternate options. After a one off successful Instrumental performance, is that a direction worth taking? Should the band finish here, and shelve the already written debut album?
It was at this time - June 2012 - where the universe aligned for the band. Dave Stanton, after 8 months, had a reawakening. He rediscovered his love for the music that was a part of his life for so long, and approached the band. Like a long lost brother, Alice welcomed him back into the fold. The fact is, ATTWG would not have been the same. And, now complete again, Alice Through The Windshield Glass moves forward, this time, with world domination on the cards.
Having a slew of high profile supports under their belt - All Shall Perish (USA), Impending Doom (USA), Carnifex (USA), Darkest Hour (USA), Sybreed (SWITZ), Shady Glimpse (JAP) to name a few - Alice now embark on their first tour supporting their new album, BRUTALIS AUSTRALIS. An album 3 years in the making, BRUTALIS is set to mark the five-piece as true world contenders of the metal scene.
