Description
This, my sixth cd, HOLDING on to MEMORIES, is a collection of songs written by me,Randy Vail , my son Peter Vail and two by my late sister, Marion Kellow. Songs are of a Historic nature and of a time gone by.A thank you to all the wonderful musicians who played on this cd.A special thanks to Randy Currie and Claude Melanson for their work on this album.
Song(1)”Holding on to Memories”--This is a country style song written for me by my son Peter Vail .
(2)” Beautiful Hills of Home”-- A song about leaving home , travelling and returning many years later to the Jolliffs Brook area that she loved so much.. Written by my sister Marion for Peter Vail a few months before she passed away from cancer.
(3)”I Remember “—I wrote this about things I remember as a boy growing up in the Belleisle area of New Brunswick many years ago.
(4)” The Wetmore Street Duel” –Peter Vail wrote this about the last known fatal duel in the history of New Brunswick .It took place many years ago in New Maryla
