The long-awaited solo debut featuring laid-back singer/songwriter, Alan Lee Witherspoon as producer and performer: Midwestern tales of love, loss and hope that are sure to draw you in

Born and raised in Ohio, Alan Lee Witherspoon has been writing and recording since first picking up the guitar in high school to learn chords from a David Bowie songbook. He grew up on 70's light rock radio, classic rock and 80's pop and those sensibilities are evident in his music. He was a member of "Peppermint Love Apparatus", "Mouth II Mouth" and "Alan and His Brother" during his college years. After many false starts, his first official release "Life as a ghost" will be unleashed upon the unsuspecting public. Written, recorded and produced by the artist, the album takes you on a journey from the lowest lows to acceptance of one's self-worth and to all the confused places in between. From the airy, almost ethereal opener "Country" and it's soul searching narrator to the melancholy strings of the introduction to "Nothing"; from the biting commentary on faux-friend high school drama in "See You Next Year" to the robbery-gone-wrong tale of "The Heist" Alan Lee Witherspoon covers a great deal of ground emotionally and sonically.
