This second release on Pattern Abuse features AGC (Asian Ganja Crew) – also known as Jack Rock. With his old moniker, he made dry and melodic techno, released on labels such as Treibstoff, Archipel, ArtiFarti and TicTacToe and supported by legendary DJ's like Richie Hawtin.
With his new moniker, Jakob has taken on a more organic, improvisational and experimental sound, stretching his techno and house base to genres such as new wave, ambient, dubstep and electronica. All with a distinctly oldschool sound. Not with any retro intent, but for the simple fact that his music is made in an oldschool way: Tweaking and recording loads of oldschool analogue machines live on a huge mixing desk.
